Jump Into Summer With These Hot Marketing Ideas

Jump Into Summer With These Hot Marketing Ideas - Agent Operations - Real Estate Marketing - Realtor Marketing

School is out, which means summer is here! You’re probably ready to take a nice vacation to the beach and relax, but unfortunately, you’re a real estate agent, which means you’re about to ramp up for another busy summer!

Even if your calendar is already jam-packed with listing appointments, showings, and open houses, you should carve out some time for marketing. Here are a few summer marketing ideas to set yourself up for success.

Sponsor A Local Summer Sports Team

Many sports, including soccer, baseball, and more, are still going strong in the summer. Consider sponsoring a local summer team by having your name put on the jerseys or other equipment or having a banner created to hang up at the location where they play. It’s a great way to connect with the community and get your name out there. It’s a double win!

Advertise At Pools & Waterparks

Local swimming pools and waterparks will be packed with families looking to beat the heat and get outside, making them great locations to advertise yourself. Post your business card or hang a flyer to promote an upcoming open house or new listing. Consider hosting a pool party or hiring an ice cream truck to come by and pass out ice cream cones.

Participate in Community Events

In order to establish yourself as a community expert, it’s important to be involved in the communities you’re selling in. Take advantage of fun summer events by participating or sponsoring one to show you care and get your name out there in the community. You can even post about upcoming community events on your social media pages and newsletters to show you know what’s going on in the area.

Connect With Your SOI

Speaking of newsletters, it’s a great idea to connect with your SOI over the summer and show them you’re available if they have questions! Many buyers and sellers tend to wait until the kids are out of school to think about whether they want to buy or sell, so sending a quick email marketing campaign including real estate tips, upcoming events, and more, could be a great reminder that you’re available for all of their real estate needs.

While it might seem like one more thing to add to your busy calendar, we promise your future self will thank you.
